 Swiss Hotel Overview
Swiss Hotel Kashmir is now 10 years old and remains eco friendly and commission free. We try to work on the
principle of minimizing the environmental impact that tourism can have. We aim to support the local economy
by using local suppliers for food and other services. We use energy saving lighting and equipment. Our long
term aim is to reduce our environmental impact by the use of solar heaters for water heating. We ask our visitors
to come up with new ideas for us to save nature and beauty of Kashmir.

Kashmir is situated under the foot hills of Shankracharya Hill and stones throw away distance from the banks of world
famous Dal-Lake. Srinagar is 1730 meters / 5200 feet above sea level.
How To Reach
By Air :- Once you arrive at Srinagar Airport go to local prepaid taxi stand at the airport terminal itself. Ask for a
prepaid taxi to Swiss Hotel Kashmir which is situated at Gagribal Road near Nehru park. The rates their are fixed. They
will charge Rs 380. If you choose a prepaid taxi out side airport terminal it will charge you Rs 400. Their is also a bus
service at the airport . Which is sometime working and sometimes not present at all. You can catch a bus up to Tourist
Reception Center. From their you can hire a auto rickshaw which will charge you any where between 25 to 30 rupees.
The distance from Srinagar airport to our hotel is 14 kms. And the distance from Tourist Reception Center to our hotel
is only 2 kms.
By Road
Usually all the buses and hired jeeps drop you at Tourist Reception Center. Take an auto rickshaw from their.
